This is not wood or rock-- it is made by hundreds layers of hand-dyed paper!  This material is very light. It gives you an elegant look with the little pearls.

The inspiration comes from Chinese landscape painting and Taoism's philosophy of "The Ultimate Way Lies in Nature"--Paper comes from wood and I made paper goes back to wood, as worship to nature.

The uniqueness of material is that you cannot find it in anywhere else; Sylvia created the material herself. It is strong as wood but much lighter than wood. Also it is moisture-proof. However, I would recommend keeping it away from water.
