The inspiration comes from Chinese landscape painting and Taoism's philosophy of "The Ultimate Way Lies in Nature"--Paper comes from wood and I made paper goes back to wood, as worship to nature.

The uniqueness of the material is that you cannot find it in anywhere else. Sylvia created the material herself. It is strong as wood but much lighter than wood.

Also it is moisture-proof. However, I would recommend keeping it away from water.
